I was born in a small town in Pennsylvania, outside of Pittsburgh. We moved to Erie, PA when I was in high school, and that is where I met my husband of 27 years. We eventually moved to North Carolina 22 years ago, and this is where I fell in love with the mountains. I am a mother of two daughters and a son, and currently have four grandchildren that keep me very busy. After spending half my life working mundane and unfulfilling jobs, I decided to go and do something that was important to me and that I enjoyed. I became involved with Wildlife Rehabilitation, helping injured and orphaned wild animals and birds, as well as deciding to go to college for a degree in Photography. I am starting this blog in hopes that others can realize that doing what you love doesn’t have to be only a dream, plus it is also a requirement of one of my classes. Thank you for following me on this journey.
